| Use Codes describe the
building style or most recent use for a parcel of real estate. REDS applies
this standard list of codes to describe properties in six
counties. Both Berks County Use Codes and
York County Use Codes provide greater detail than our
standard codes and
are posted as they appear in their property sales reports.
Most property sales reports are not detailed enough to use every code on this page. For example, Dauphin County does not indicate when a two story dwelling is a townhouse (R08). Two story townhouses in Dauphin County are coded R03. You can easily determine if a code is used by searching for any property with a particular code using the Search Filter. Additonal information describing the presence or absence of information specific to each county is available on our Report Reviews pages. |
