| Every county in Pennsylvania produces
a
property sales report (aka STEB Report) for the purpose of reporting
transfer tax to the state. The State Taxation Equalization Board
uses this information to determine
Common Level Ratios for each county.
While all counties must include basic sales information to satisfy
minimum reporting standards, some counties put more
information in their property sales reports than others. These pages
were created to review details, such as the presence or absence of
sales data, specific to each county report. Sample search
results are also presented. In most instances, the
information outlined here will affect the results of a database search. |
