Real Estate Data Services is networking with individuals from
counties supported by the database who will agree to obtain copies of property deeds for
our online subscribers. Registered users may request a property deed from
Deed Service participants in
Cumberland and
Franklin counties.
You will be billed $5.00 for the first two
pages and $2.00 for each additional page.
These fees are
in addition to and separate from those of REDS. If you choose to use their services,
you will be faxed an invoice along with the deed pages you requested. This is a
"pay as you go" program. Keep in mind that the person pulling
your property deed is an independent contractor. Please remit payment to the address on their
invoice as promptly as possible. Do not send payment for property deeds to REDS.
To request a deed, you must provide some information about the
subject property. REDS has created online forms for your convenience. Begin by
opening the appropriate form for the county in which your subject is located. For requests to be
processed, all information must be completed as indicated. Be sure to include your
daytime phone number because the person pulling your property deed may occasionally need
more subject information.
Fill in the open Property Deed Request Form
online. Print a copy of the form by right mouse clicking anywhere over the
form and selecting Print from the drop down menu. Information typed on the form is not saved
or sent over the Internet. When you close the Web page displaying the form, the information is
gone. The printed form should fit on letter size paper.
If needed, reduce your Web browser's page margins in Page Setup.
Fax the printed page to the phone number for the person
pulling property deeds in that county. Most of the individuals pulling
deeds for our subscribers are in their county Recorder of Deeds office on a
daily basis Monday through Friday. Requests are often processed (during normal business days)
within 24 hours.
