Since
our introduction more than ten years ago, we have achieved our
Mission by managing a comprehensive real property sales database for
Cumberland, Adams, Berks, Perry, Franklin, Dauphin, Lebanon and York counties.
Sales records are updated about once each month using the property sales
report produced for public distribution by each county's Tax Assessment Office.
Please remember that some
sales reports are more complete than others. Visit our
Report Reviews pages to examine details,
such as the presence or absence of sales data, specific to each county
report. As new reports
arrive, records are
carefully entered onto a database template and published to the Web. This
means every confirmed sale (recorded in the Recorder of Deeds office)
in each county should appear in our database. |

These sales reports include
essential information such as the buyer, seller, parcel number,
address, deed reference, price, assessed value, sale date, building size
and acreage for sold
properties.
Use Codes, which describe the style or most recent use for a parcel of real
estate, are also present on a sales report. REDS applies a standard list
of use codes to the tens of thousands of commercial, industrial,
agricultural and residential properties sold annually in our area. Each
category of information can be thoroughly explored using our online
Search Filter. Even first time users
will quickly be doing their own "data mining" with this easy
to use search interface.
In addition to our property
sales database, we post lots of information here of interest to real
estate professionals as it becomes available. From the drop down
menu you can access millage rates, district numbers, common level
ratios, Deed Service participants and contact
information for county courthouses and municipal offices in the Keystone
State. Reference
census data, maps, links, our User Agreement
and Table of Contents. Find out how to

database searches start from the drop down menu too. |
